CannFest Cannabis Competition 2026 – Crowd Doobie Toss Edition
CannFest is shifting gears for 2026 and turning the spotlight onto pre-rolled joints in a fun, high-energy, crowd-voted format. Only licensed vendors and attendees may participate. This is your chance to showcase your flower and rolling skills in front of thousands of cannabis enthusiasts. Now exclusively at the Ohio Cannabis Festival at Kuhnle Motorsports Park in Thompson, OH this September 12–13, 2026.
JUDGING PROCESS - The Doobie Toss
When:
Sunday starting at 11:00 AM at the Main Stage.
Who Can Judge:
Ticket holders (21+) present at the event.
How It Works:
Each participating guest receives one voting token when they enter the event. Guests sample pre-rolled joints during a multi-hour smoke session judging all the entries.
Voting Method:
Guests toss their token into the bucket corresponding to their favorite brand. Staff counts tokens to determine the winner.
Results:
Winners announced live on the main stage after the final vote count.
VENDOR SUBMISSIONS
Who Can Enter:
Confirmed vendors only (21+).

Entry Fee:
$100 per submission
(Billed separately from vending fees)
Payment:
Invoices emailed within 48 hours of application
Fees are non-refundable
Entries will not be accepted without full payment
Product Required:
2.5 ounces of your best flower. Half (.5) ounce for documentation and inspection, 2 ounces rolled into as many joints as desired. (Minimum 20 joints recommended for fair judging)
Submission Format:
Doobie Toss format — pre-rolled joints only.
Packaging:
Must be submitted in a sealed container or bag.
Labeling (Required):
• Brand / Grower name
• Cultivar / Strain name
• Type (Sativa, Indica, Hybrid)
• THC / CBD percentages (if known)
Quality Standards:
Flowers must pass the inspection process before public judging. Joints must be professionally rolled, evenly packed, and fully smokable. Poorly rolled, uneven, or substandard joints will be disqualified.
Drop-Off:
Submissions shall be entered at vendor check-in Thursday or Friday. Late submissions will not be accepted. Non-vendor entries will not be accepted.
Compliance:
All entries must comply with state and local regulations.
❌ No Delta-8 or Delta-10 products.
Non-compliant entries will be forfeited.
Stage Interaction:
Each entry receives shout-outs from the main stage during the judging session.
Prizes:
🥇 Gold Medal – Most votes
🥈 Silver Medal – 2nd place
🥉 Bronze Medal – 3rd place
